According to a report in the Huffington Post (March 24, 2009) by Kelly O'Reilly, LifeStyles is planning on releasing their new LATEX FREE, microscopically thin, SKYN CONDOM - which users can barely feel!!!
According to trial users (sign me up please!!!) the sensation felt during sex is almost like the propitious prophylactic is not even there! Now all of you out there who claim using condoms comes between you and your partner, or that you have allergies to latex, there is nothing left to bitch about.
Also, LifeStyles is taking a new direction in their advertising campaign for this new product. They are planning on moving away from the humour based approach toward a more sexy look and "feel"(I like it already!). Hoping to hook viewers in with the hot bodies on display, they plan to spread the message that safe sex is not only the smart thing to do, but the HOT thing to do!
I for one agree ... I'm tired of the same old messages being sent my way that make fun of fucking and take away some of the passionate foreplay you can have with condoms. It's about time we see condoms as more than the important protective measure it is and include some of the tasty ways they can be used! (Mmmm)
What do you think?
What are some of your favourite condom campaigns?
And what are some of the ways you use condoms that make your sex life even more stimulating?

Upcoming Volunteer Training With ASAAP
So this is more of a notice than a blog post:
The Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention in Toronto is holding a two-day volunteer training session on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26 2009. ASAAP is a non-profit AIDS service organization that serves Toronto's South Asian population and is celebrating its 20th year. ASAAP both offers clients living with HIV support and services and also provides prevention education in the form of outreaches and workshops. Before volunteering with ASAAP, it's mandatory to attend the training so here's the process:
1. Save the dates.
2. Email Mohini Datta-Ray the Prevention Education Coordinator at education@asaap.ca and let her know you want to set up an interview.
3. Fill out the application form at your interview.
4. Attend the training session.
For more info on ASAAP, visit their website or email Mohini at education@asaap.ca

Welcome to the BrownKiss blog, a space where those of us of the brown persuasion, and our friends of any persuasion, can share ideas, info or just shoot the shit ....
BrownKiss will be posting stuff from party listings to educational pieces related to South Asian youth and we would love to have you be a part of this. So please feel free to send us your stories, opinions, questions, comments or just your rants and raves and we'll post on your behalf - after a bit of editing if necessary of course.
This is an all inclusive blog, so while we encourage you to share your opinions and views we ask that you don't hate. You can have a difference of opinion but be nice about it - RESPECT is the key here. You may find that some of the posts here may conflict with your own personal beliefs; all we ask is that you keep your mind open enough to see things from another point of view. Maybe you might learn something you never knew or you could send us a response to show your point of view. We want to encourage dialogue to help our community evolve ...
Now ... let's get started!!!
